The Group Managing Director of Flour Mills Plc, Mr. Paul Gbededo, has advised Nigerians to engage in regular exercise.
Gbededo stated this during the maiden ‘Goldenvita Walk for Life’ event held in Lagos last Saturday. According to Gbededo, the initiative is to demonstrate the importance of exercise in longevity and good health.

            He said, “We all live in an environment that is characterised by professional and domestic pressures that lead to stress and impact negatively on healthy living. It is important therefore that we make out time to relieve stress by embarking on regular exercise.”

            The Product Manager, Golden Vita Wheat meal, Chinenye Akukwe, said, “The Goldenvita Walk for Life’ is designed with a healthy living in mind. As walking is one of both physical and mental well-being, it is a great way to improve your health and fitness while enjoying the fresh air.”
The seven-kilometre walk which kicked off at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, had participants from different walks of life in attendance. Some of them included former national team players, Segun Odegbami and Victor Ikpeba.

              The participants also engaged in a dancing competition, talent show and bike stunts in order to keep them in good health condition.
