it a try so I visited the site and entered for the contest. Last week I
got an email that I have been nominated for the final screening. This is
a dream come true for me. I have longed to undertake this smile
makeover treatment but was unable to foot bill. Now, God has made it
possible for me.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Brand Communications Manager, Oral-B, Tomiwa Ajewole said “On
March 20, we marked the World Oral Health Day 2014 with the culmination
of the ‘Oral-B Sharing Smiles’ activation campaign – a community-based
initiative designed to reach out to disadvantaged communities that
cannot afford dental care products and consultation with dentists, and
in effect extended the outreach by our association with Project Smile as
a sponsor.
We aimed to impact the lives of
Nigerians who have been deprived of great smiles due to their dental
flaws. Today, we are proud to present to the world, the three winners of
Project Smile 2014 Complementary Smile Makeover Program and in
addition, the five nominees who were sponsored by the Judges.
Collectively, we celebrate the eight candidates of this life
transforming smile makeover program. Indeed we have delivered on the FDI
World Dental Federation theme of ‘Celebrating Healthy Smiles’ as promised”.
