Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has signed a two-year contract extension to remain as the Azzurris boss.

        The 56-year-old succeeded Marcello Lippi following Italy’s shock exit from the group stages of the the 2010 Fifa World Cup.

        He made an immediate impact, leading his country to the final of Uefa Euro 2012.The four-time champions are in Group D of next month’s tournament, alongside Uruguay, Costa Rica and England. Prandelli’s new deal will take him through to the 2016 European Championship in France.
